Although many of us think of Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia's turn in the live-action version, The Addams Family also had two animated series - one in 1973 and the other in 1992.
In fact, Jodie Foster - yes, that Jodie Foster - voiced Pugsley Addams in the '73 version, whilst the '92 version had John Astin reprising his role as Gomez from the '60s live-action TV series. Why are bringing this all up, you ask?
Variety reports that Oscar Isaac is in talks to voice the role of Gomez Addams in an upcoming animated film based on the property, with Conrad Vernon - director of Sausage Party - lined up to helm a script from Corpse Bride scribe Pamela Pettler.
There's no word yet on who'll be cast alongside Isaac as Morticia Addams, but one thing's for certain - Oscar Isaac would make a perfect live-action Gomez Addams too. So, y'know, consider that as well, Hollywood people.
