Fresh details have emerged about Shane Black's Predator reboot.
As we reported last month, Benecio Del Toro dropped out of the lead role due to scheduling conflicts only to be replaced by Narcos' Boyd Halbrook.
Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Halbrook will be joined in the movie by Olivia Munn. The former Newsroom star, is set to play a scientist opposite Halbrook's special forces commando.
There isn't much else in the way of plot being revealed just yet but we do know the story will be set in suburbia....which is in line with the other harsh environments of previous installments like jungles and frozen wastelands.
Shane Black has co-written the script with Fred Dekker and will be taking on the directorial reins for a movie that has a 2018 release date.
