Yesterday we brought you the first trailer from Ridley Scott's The Counselor starring our very own hunk of burnin' love, Michael Fassbender. Today we've had a gander at some of the exclusive stills from the movie, via Entertainment Weekly, featuring a snap that's sure to get you hot under the collar. Penelope Cruz and Cameron Diaz wearing nothing but white fluffy towels, sprawled on their massage beds? At 39 and 40 respectively, if I look even a fifth as well as these fine specimens when I make it to that age, I'll be damn well pleased with myself.
Anyhoo, if you weren't awake thus far, such a sight will surely put a spring in your step. And for those of you who are more into the male physique, there's also this lovely pic of Big Mickey Fassbender to make you sigh. To quite Ryan Gosling's Crazy Stupid Love character, he's wearing that suit like he's doing it a favour.
With a cast like this, that also includes Javier Bardem, Brad Pitt, we're chomping at the bit to get a load of The Counselor. It's said to be quite dark, quite No Country For Old Men-esque, in which things go from great to bad to worse to 'holy SHIT did that just happen?'.
Nothing like a bit of head-scratching, mind-f*ckery to inspire oneself to go to the cinema. There's been quite a bit of dross of late, amirite? Our brains need challenging, our at least mine does anyway.
Fassbender stars as a lawyer who dabbles in drug dealing to make a few extra shillings on the side, only to find things don't go as planned, spiralling into unforseen, dangerous territory wherein, we're told, we can expect more than a few of our star-studded cast members to drop off the face of the planet. Awesome.
