Jordan Peele has released the final trailer for his much-anticipated sci-fi horror film 'Nope' giving us a little more insight into the mysterious plot.
In the beginning of the trailer we see the father of OJ and Emerald - played by Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer - killed by some mysterious, extra-terrestrial force. We are also introduced to Angel Torres (Brandon Perea), a tech wizard, and the grizzled Antlers Holst (Michael Wincott), an apparent UFO enthusiast, who help the siblings capture footage of aliens that have been tormenting their home.
As well as a final full trailer, we were also treated to a behind-the-scenes look at Peele in action on set. In the short video, the director says, "This whole film is as ambitious a cinematic event as I have planned so far in my career."
He added, "I tried to write a script, I didn't know how to pull it off. I then assembled a team to help me pull it off."
Earlier this year, trailers for 'Nope' had been about as vague as they come, leading to much speculation as to what the movie is actually about. With the anticipation building, the most recent trailer has given us some more hints but still leaves a lot to the imagination.
Last month at CinemaCon, Peele told the audience, "trailers will give you a taste, but we want to retain some of the mystery, so you can be satisfied going to the damn movie."
At the very end of the trailer we get a brief look at the craft which has been plaguing the inland Californian town. We can't wait until the film hits cinemas next month.
