Dublin based company, BeActive (formally CR Entertainment) has announced it is co-producing up and coming British writer/director/actor Noel Clarke’s new film, The Knot.
According to a press release, the film will star Mena Suvari, Talulah Riley Matthew McNulty, Jason Maza, Juliet Oldfield and Clarke himself. Described as a romantic comedy, the film is about "2 soulmates Alexandra (Riley) and Jeremy (McNulty) who are getting married. At least that's the plan. Unfortunately for them, nonchalant best man Peter (Clarke), bridesmaid Sarah (Suvari) and an army of naysayers haven't heard they're meant to be together."
Noel Clarke has written and directed 4.3.2.1 and Adulthood, as well as writing and starring in Kidulthood. He's very much seen as a rising British talent both in front and behind the camera.
