How much do you love the 'Spider-Man' films?
Do you love it enough to see his movies 292 times in the cinema?
One superfan did just that.
Florida man Ramiro Alanis watched the latest 'Spider-Man' outing 292 times in cinemas between December 16th, 2021 and March 15th, 2022.
The film made $803 million at the American box office, and Alanis' contributions repersented $3,400 of that box office gross.
For the first few weeks of the films release, Alanis was taking in 5 screenings of the film a day, and had a worker at the cinema verify has ticket purchase.
Alanis has form, with the Marvel fan taking in 191 screenings of 'Avengers: Endgame' in 2019, only to have his record broken by Frenchman Arnaud Klein, who saw fantasy film 'Kaamelott: The First Chapter' 204 times.
Alanis had held the Guinness World Record, but had lost it to Klein.
With the release of 'No Way Home', Alanis decided to win back his record by homaging his late grandmother who passed away in 2019.
"She was my #1 supporter and I want to remain the record holder,” he said.
"If anyone tries to break my record again, I want them to think twice before attempting it."
For those asking, yes, Alanis' screenings included sitting through the end credits each time, and a cinema worker took a statement to confirm he had watched the film from start to finish.
Per IGN, the viewings had a sternous set of rules, which included no toilet breaks, using a phone, or taking a nap.
With the film out now on Blu-Ray, we suspect he isn't in a rush to see the film again anytime soon.
