There's been no shortage of drama from Olivia Wilde's newest movie 'Don't Worry Darling' and now we've finally caught the brains behind the operation.
Nick Kroll, who stars as Bill, spoke to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show this week in a hilarious interview. The chat spanned topics such as his new baby, the voice inside his head sounding like Jason Statham and getting an allergic reaction on holidays.
But most important was the revelation that he was the mastermind behind the drama of 'Don't Worry Darling'.
"I think the less you know about the movie going in, the better, so it's all new and surprising," Kroll told Fallon. "So I decided 'let's create a lot of buzz around the film but not about the film itself.'
"I'm the puppeteer. I'm like, 'so Harry [Styles], when you walk into the premiere in Venice spit on Chris Pine.' And he was like, 'got it', but then he was like 'I dunno if that's going to work'."
"So then I was like 'you know what, gimme a kiss. And then I asked him to spit into my mouth and he wouldn't do that. You know, the guy's got boundaries."
This week, Kiki Layne added more fuel to the fire as she posted on Instagram about her scenes being cut from the film. At least now she can blame Kroll for everything.
We strongly recommend you watch the entire interview below.
'Don't Worry Darling' is currently out in Irish cinemas.
