Having had the pleasure of sitting down with the very lovely Jeremy Irvine (War Horse, Now is Good) last week, we're very excited to see his turn in the forthcoming Great Expectations (with a screenplay by David Nicholls) where he takes the lead as Pip; the humble orphan who transforms into gentleman with the help of an unknown benefactor. Starring alongside Hollywood heavyweights like Ralph Fiennes and Helena Bonham Carter, this is quite the iconic role to take on. However, plucked from obscurity by one Mr. Steven Spielberg for his turn in War Horse, we'd hazard a guess that the 22 year old Irvine is more than capable of doing Pip justice.
