Jaysus. This is the part of my job that I loathe entirely. Having to watch trailers to scary movies. I should be used to it by now. They shouldn't go down to the basement, but of course they do. The kids seem innocent but they're more than likely gonna end up possessed. The door creaks open and we can bet our bottom dollar that its not the wind causing ruptions in the house.
Here is the trailer for The Conjuring. I had to watch it from behind the safety of my scarf and I yelped on more than one occasion; not exactly something you want happening in an office full of hard-at-work journos. Anyhoo, despite the fact that I scare quite easily, this looks like it's going to be one of the more pants-wetting films of 2013. Would you agree?
As for the plot, Insidious director James Wan has set in the seventies. Of course it is; things are always scarier when you're wearing paisely print. They move into their New England Home to find it ravaged by spirits. There's also some pretty creepy jewellery box music that plays at the end. Vera Farmiga stars but it's Lilli Taylor (featuring in this here trailer) who we reckon will steal the show. Hairs on end, tears in eyes, don't think I'll be man enough for this one!
