There's a new trailer for the hotly anticipated Carrie remake, starring Chloe Grace Moretz. Will it be anywhere near as good as the original? Unlikely, but let's give little miss Hit Girl the benefit of the doubt.

OK, I'm back now.
Hmm, well the advent of smart phones and the likes certainly serve to modernise the story. Though it's the old school, slightly fuzzy texture to the original that saw its journey from a general release to a cult film. It's something we keep going back to. That being said, Julianne Moore seems to take the role of the crazy-ass mother by the balls and make it her own entirely. Her frazzled, jumpy demeanour is pretty damn freaky. And as the trailer builds towards the final, famous prom scene, it looks like they've pulled out all the stops to make this as dramatic a climax as possible.
