Thanks the new trailer, we've gotten a much closer look at Jared Leto as Dr. Michael Morbius, the superhuman doctor with a hankering for blood.
The trailer shows us that Morbius, suffering from a rare blood disease, finds a cure with some vampiric side-effects. The doctor seems to struggle to control his bloodlust while trying to save lives with his new powers.
We get a surprise cameo from Michael Keaton, who will reprise his role as Vulture from 'Spiderman: Homecoming'.
Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed the presence of two Spiderman characters from the previous series ‘The Amazing Spiderman’ starring Andrew Garfield.
A headline in the Daily Bugle reads: “Rhino on the loose: Zoo hoax fools us all”, while another reads: “Black Cat: friend or foe?”

Morbius also walks past graffiti of Sam Raimi’s 'Spiderman' starring Tobey Maguire, causing even more intrigue and confusion into the worlds that Morbius inhabits in the film.

At the very end of the trailer, Morbius also cracks a joke that he is 'Venom'.
From the looks of it we'll be seeing some crossover with a lot, if not all, of the previous Spidermen and perhaps Tom Hardy's Venom, too.
‘Morbius’ will hit cinemas on January 28th. Check out the trailer below.
