It's been a great year for cinema with some fantastic critically acclaimed movies released. There have also been quite a few flops and duds - movies that either didn't quite live up to expectation or worse, were a huge letdown. There's also the films which were neither of these.
Comedian and TV writer Demi Adejuyigbe ('The Good Place', 'The Late Late Show') asked his Twitter followers for the movies they thought were "just fine" in 2019.
Well gang, we’ve finally passed the last Friday of 2019, which means it’s time to finally decide: what is the most okay movie of the year? It doesn’t suck! It didn’t blow your mind! It’s just fine– and that’s okay! What’s the most 5 out of 10 film of the year?

The tweet soon went viral and Twitter users have been sharing their thoughts:
Not being spicy when I say Joker. I think it was about the hype. By the time I saw it, I didn't know if I was going to love it or hate it, but I was sure it would be one or the other. Instead it was OK. Didn't think it was an important masterpiece, or subversive and dangerous.

Last Christmas! I laughed and basked in Emilia Clarke's sheer I'm-not-on-Game-of-Thrones-anymore joy. It was fun!

It Chapter 2. Huge step down from the first one but good performances.

'Yesterday'. I had high hopes, it didn't meet them, and that's fine. Far from great, but not at all bad. A perfectly pleasant matinee that I likely will not revisit for a very long time.

definitely detective pikachu. aside from the thrill of seeing live-action pokemon and a slightly more realistic take on the franchise, it was pretty “meh”. still fun though! just not outstanding

Definitely Ready Or Not. Felt like they could have done way more with the concept, but Samara Weaving and Adam Brody were enough to keep the audience engaged.
