So it looks like Ted 2 is actually happening, all be it without the lovely Mila Kunis as the female lead. Writer, director and co-star Seth MacFarlane said the decision to give Kunis a much smaller role was a “creative” one and the two are still pals, but she'll not be starring this time out as Ted goes blonde instead...
Instead of Kunis playing the dutiful girlfriend, putting up with Mark Wahlberg’s incessant, strange but utterly hilarious relationship with a talking bear, it will be Amanda Seyfried as, we’re assuming, the love interest.
Seyfried just worked with MacFarlane on the hilarious looking ‘Million Ways to Die in the West’ and the two obviously clicked enough to work together again.
No word yet on a production start date as MacFarlane is putting the finishing touches to ‘Die’ but expect to see Ted 2 in the next couple of years. While you can expect to see the former this coming summer.
