Michael Fassbender has always had a bit of an edge. Be it the roles he chooses, or, well, his general demeanour.
That doesn't look like it's gonna change anytime soon with the news that he's signed on to play serial killer in 'Entering Hades’ based on the true story of Jack Unterweger, a journalist who committed horrific crimes against women, and then reported about said crimes. Unterweger murdered several prostitutes in different countries, before being convicted in 1974 AND THEN RELEASED in 1990. Naturally, he murdered again before killing himself in prison in 1994.
It's a fascinating and terrifying story by the sounds of it, that Fassbender will also produce.
The Kerry/German actor has early Oscar contender The Light Between Oceans, X-Men Apocalypse, Assassin’s Creed and The Snowman due all in the next year or so.
Entering Hades doesn't have a director as of yet, but someone needs to shine the bat signal to wherever the f**k David Fincher is. Right up his alley.
