Breakout star of the Scream series, and generally ace actor, Matthew Lillard has just signed two new names for his directorial debut, Fat Kid.
According to Darkhorizons.com, star of the AMC series The Killing, Billy Campbell, will play the father of main character Troy, a suicidal teen planning to end it all until he meets a charismatic 18 year old to be played by Matt O'Leary - who has popped up in Die Hard 4.0 and countless other flicks. The film is based on an award winning novel by K.L. Going and is already shooting in Seattle.
I was a huge fan of Lillard after Scream came out, and he impressed me even further when he starred in the underrated indie, Dead Man's Curve. He'll next be seen opposite George Clooney in The Descendants. Really looking forward to seeing what he does behind the camera.
