The thought of Matt Damon in the nip might set plenty of hearts racing, but when you add a naked Michael Douglas to the equation the mental image gets a little more interesting.
Nevertheless, that's what Mr Damon has promised us in the upcoming Liberace biopic. Douglas stars as the legendary pianist (steady now, steady) in Behind the Candelabra, while Damon plays his long term lover, Scott Thorson.
"It's tastefully done", Matt told Playboy. "Steven Soderbergh directed it, and Michael Douglas plays Liberace. But this movie's not going to be for everyone." That didn't stop the nerves getting to him though, and he admitted that some of the scenes were just a tad daunting. "Like, for one scene, I had to come out of a pool, go over to Michael, straddle him on a chaise longue and start kissing him," he said. "And throughout the script, it's not like I kiss him just once. We drew it up like a football plan."
Damon says Behind the Candelabra might not be for everyone but he did joke that Mister Catherine Zeta Jones was a 'wonderful kisser'.
