In case you that Marvel and Disney were going to take a pause after Avengers: Infinity War, that's most definitely not the case.

According to a Vanity Fair profile, Marvel head honcho Kevin Feige now says he has twenty - that's 2-0 - films planned after the release of Infinity War on April 27th, 2018. What's more, Feige says these films will be "completely different from anything that’s come before—intentionally." That's usually the case with films. Cough.

The other big takeaway from the VF piece was a little smidgen of information on Infinity War; that they're may finally be an actual bodycount in terms of central characters. "There will be two distinct periods. Everything before Avengers 4 and everything after. I know it will not be in ways people are expecting," said Feige. Presumably, he's talking about the contracts expiring for Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, possibly Samuel L. Jackson, and maybe even a few others - which will mean that there'll finally be something approaching real stakes in these films.

Either way, the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn't going anywhere and you'd all better get used to that idea. The DC Expanded Universe, on the other hand...
