The red carpet premiere of 'Eternals' took place last night, with the stars of the latest blockbuster from Marvel arriving at the Dolby Theatre in LA.
Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Barry Keoghan star in Marvel's 25th film as immortal heroes. Following the premiere of the film, which tells the origin story of the celestial beings who are set to join the MCU, the 'Eternals' got some overwhelmingly positive reactions on Twitter.
While we still don't know a terrible amount about the film yet, according to what people are saying, Angelina Jolie as Thena is one of the highlights. There was also a huge amount of praise for Oscar-winning director Chloé Zhao, whose first foray into the Marvel realm seems to tick all of the boxes, delivering a different tone and atmosphere than we've seen in the franchise before.
Official reviews of the film are being held back until this coming Sunday, so until then, here are the 'Eternals' reactions from Twitter. Reviewers have been saying the film is "cool as hell", "off the charts" and also "spectacularly weird".
Finally, according to some Tweets we've spotted, there's also a very delicious post-credits scene involving a brand new character coming into the fold. Warning - spoilers await.
Just this week, the remainder of the MCU films in Phase Four have been pushed back. Beginning with 'Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness', this will now arrive in cinemas six weeks later, in May 2022. You can see the full list of changes here.
'Eternals' will be released in cinemas on Friday, November 5.
