Another day, another project with Mark Wahlberg's name attached to it.
Apparently the star of The Fighter has replaced Vince Vaughn in the film, Two Guns. It was originally supposed to be directed by David O'Russell, but he jumped ship soon after Vaughn to helm The Silver Linings Playbook, which Wahlberg was also attached to. The film will be a comic adaptation and centre on a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who unwittingly investigate each other as they both make off with some mob money.
I'm getting a little sick of reporting on possible Wahlberg starring vehicles, as the majority of them end up falling through. He is so in demand after the success of The Fighter, he get a remake of Gigli green-lit. Two Guns is still looking for a director.
