The stunning Australian actress looks set to join the cast of David Ayer's comic book movie Suicide Squad, playing a role alongside the Joker.

The movie will take up the story of a group of supervillains from the DC Universe, and there have been a few names seemingly confirmed to appear in the movie already that should make it a box office hit including Will Smith and Jesse Eisenberg, who will reprise his role as Lex Luthor.

According to reports, Margot Robbie is now included in the mix, and is lined up to play Harley Quinn, who you may be familiar with from the recent series of Batman: Arkham video games, or from her appearances in the excellent animated series from the '90s.

While Cara Delevingne had also been mentioned in relation to the role, Collider are reporting that Robbie has beaten the competition and will get the nod to play the psychiatrist turned sidekick of the Joker, a role that might well be filled by Jared Leto.
