Australian actress Margot Robbie is in talks to star in the new Tarzan movie.
The actress, who has been making a name for herself after her recent breakthrough performance in The Wolf of Wall Street, is in negotiations to play Jane in the upcoming movie. Robbie will star opposite Alexander Skarsgard who has already signed up to play the role of Tarzan. The movie, helmed by David Yates, was shut down last year when concerns over budget came to the fore but things appear to be on the move again.
Robbie's career seems to be on the rise, as she also has been confirmed to play the lead role in Z for Zachariah, replacing Amanda Seyfried. Directed by Craig Zobel the movie will follow a girl who survives a nuclear war. Chris Pine and Chiwetel Ejiofor are also linked to the movie.
