'The Sopranos' prequel movie has been pushed back by six months.
'The Many Saints of Newark' will be arriving on September 24. The news will come as a blow to many fans of the crime drama series, who were hoping to see it in cinemas or on HBO Max this March.
This is the second time that it has been shifted back, with the original release date being set for September 2020.
Warner Bros. Pictures official Twitter account tweeted the news. The tweet reads: "On September 24, watch as rival gangsters rise up during the explosive era of the Newark riots – The Many Saints of Newark, a feature film prequel to the award-winning The Sopranos. In theatres and streaming exclusively on HBO Max."

Starring Michael Gandolfini, the son of James Gandolfini, 'The Many Saints of Newark' is set during the summer of 1967, with the characters we know from 'The Sopranos' making appearances as their much younger selves.
Joining Gandolfini in the prequel will be Vera Farmiga as Livia Soprano, Tony''s mother; Jon Bernthal as 'Johnny Boy' Soprano, Tony's father; with Corey Stoll, Billy Magnussen, Lesli Margherita and Allesandro Nivola.
