Here are some words I didn't think I'd be typing this afternoon.. Barry Manilow: The Movie is on the way. Yep, you read that right. Not only will the film feature music from Manilow, but it will feature the man himself in a cameo. You have to ask yourself if this project would have even been considered for production had the movie adaptation of Mamma Mia! not been such a massive success. An even stranger piece of news: the film is being produced by Tom Hanks and REM's Michael Stipe. Will people go see a Barry Manilow movie? That remains to be seen...
