Provided the human race isn't wiped out by some unforeseen catastrophe or nuclear holocaust in the next twelve months or so, we'll have a sequel for the smash-hit musical adaptation of Mamma Mia! to look forward to.
Again, assuming that they're not dead from radiation poisoning or have joined the rag-tag resistance fighting the hordes of robotic exoskeletons that rise up in post-apocalyptic situations, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Pierce Brosnan are set to return in their respective roles.
The film, called Here We Go Again!, doesn't have a plot synopsis as of yet, but it's understood that it will act as a prequel and a sequel to the original musical and will likely going to feature ABBA's incredible discography, close-knit singing and lots of smiles and goodness.
Not deadened skin, burning wreckage and debris, the nihilism of nuclear apocalypse and killer robots. Although it's a sequel, so anything's possible really.
Here We Go Again! is slated for a July 20th, 2018 release.
