Louis CK's feature-length directorial debut, I Love You Daddy, is now unlikely to ever see the light of day.
The Orchard, the distributor handling its release, confirmed that the release of the film had been cancelled in light of the allegations. The Orchard purchased worldwide rights to the film at TIFF earlier this year for $5 million. Early reviews of the film noted its controversial storyline, which featured CK as a television producer whose teenager daughter - played by Chloe Moretz - engages in a relationship with a middle-aged actor, played by John Malkovich.
The film also featured racist language and, in one scene, Charlie Day's character making masturbatory gestures at Rose Byrne. Earlier today, both Chloe Moretz and Charlie Day confirmed that both were refusing to help promote the film in light of the allegations.
Louis CK himself has made no statement about the allegations against him or the film.
