Human Traffic is, understandably, lumped in with the same wave of British films as Trainspotting and 24-Hour Party People, however the film took on a life of its own and also gave us one Danny Dyer.
Ah, Danny Dyer. The gift that keeps on giving.
Anyway, as Trainspotting 2 is officially happening with both the original cast and the original director and writer signed on, attention's turned to Human Traffic. It's now been reported that a sequel is currently underway called Human Traffic: The Revolution, which follows the gang now living in Ibiza.
The 1999 film was a surprise box-office hit that starred the aforementioned Danny Dyer in his first film role, John Simm, Shaun Parkes and Nicola Reynolds and followed a group of a Cardiff teenagers during the height of the dance craze in the '90s. As well as having one of the best scenes written in the English language - NICE ONE, BRUVA - it also featured a huge soundtrack of dance hits, including Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Felix Da Housecat and many more besides.
Danny Dyer almost confirmed the news on Twitter, in which he said that Moff - his character from the film - was one of his favourite characters to play.
Moff. One of my favourite characters ever. That's all I'm saying on the matter. ;) https://t.co/g7BwoXY4hc

The film celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2014, however there's no word on an official release date or production start on the film. In the meantime, we'll just have to watch this scene on repeat.
