A new director has been thrown into the mix for Little Fockers, after the trades previously reported that both Role Models director David Wain and Get Smart helmer Pete Segal where, at different times, frontrunners to helm. Now, American Pie co-director Paul Weitz is being lined up to direct, but lord knows if that'll stick. Variety are saying that Weitz's people are actually as far as negotiating his salary, so this should be a done deal - and we're aware we've said that twice before. Weitz's next film after Fockers will be with Robert De Niro also, and called Another Bullshit Night In Suck City, which has been a passion project of his for a long time. Casey Affleck has been attached for yonks also, and production will roll as soon Fockers is in the can. Expect Little Fockers to tickle your funny bone next summer.
