Anticipations are high for Disney’s live-action reboot of Beauty and the Beast, which is due for release March 17th.
Directed by Dreamgirls’ Bill Condon, the film's impressive cast includes Emma Watson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Luke Evans, Kevin Kline and Dan Stevens.
After releasing its first full-length trailer back in November, which quickly became one of the most viewed trailers of the year, Disney is teasing us again, this time with a first listen of Emma Watson singing as the protagonist, Belle.
Fans of the movie will undoubtedly recognise ‘Something There’ from the animated original, and while Emma doesn’t have the powerhouse vocals of Paige O’Hara, who voiced the character in the 1991 film, there is a charm and sweetness to her voice which we think are perfect for the role:
