Liam Neeson has revealed when he filmed his role in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises he didn't have a clue what the plot of the movie entailed. Nolan kept the plot so secret that he refused to even share the storyline with the actors.
Neeson speaking to MTV said that even on set Nolan would not reveal the plot' [Nolan] takes it to another extreme,” explains Neeson. 'I didn’t know I was in the movie! I went and shot a scene for two hours with Christian Bale. There was a set, and Christian was tied up. He continued by saying 'I said, ‘Chris, what am I doing?’ ‘Um… well, just walk forward, and say the lines, walk back, and that’ll be it, really.’ I said, ‘What the fuck? Tell me the story!’ ‘Um… I’d prefer not to, really.’ ‘Okay, don’t mind me. I’m just an actor.'Neeson who reprised his role as Ras al Ghul in the third film was kept in the dark about the plot except for the single scene he filmed in. Nolan who is known for his penchant for secrecy even asked Neeson to keep it under wraps that he had even been on the set' Don’t tell anybody you were here.' And there’s a crew of 300, you know? I said, “I’m not going to say anything, but these 300 guys might!'
Neeson stars in Taken 2 which is out now.
