It's been confirmed! Kristen Wiig WILL appear in Anchorman 2. Fantastic news; she's a natural fit with the lads from the Channel 4 News Team. What's more, she has beautiful eyes, and her hair smells like cinnamon. The news was revealed by the film's director Adam McKay on Twitter last night: "Just found out Kristen Wiig officially on board for Anchorman 2. Cannonball!"
Wiig will take on the role of Brick's (Steve Carrell) wife. No longer has he only got eyes for his beloved lamp.
With such a fantastic cast of comedic actors, will Anchorman: The Legend Continues live up to the hype and supersede the success of the original movie? The pressure is certainly on but we reckon this bunch know what they're doing. The fate of Ron Burgundy rests in good hands.
