Kevin Hart continues to mix-up his choices after the unexpected box-office success of The Upside with drama, 'Two Kisses for Maddie.'
The film is based on the real-life memoir of Matthew Logelin, who tragically lost his wife Liz, 27 hours after the birth of their first child. Hart will play Logelin, while one of the breakout stars of the ace HBO series 'Barry' Anthony Carrigan will play Matthew's best friend.
The film, titled 'Fatherhood' will be directed by 'American Pie' and 'About A Boy' helmer, Paul Weitz.
'The Upside' made over $100 million at the domestic box-office, out-performing more obviously commercial Hart flicks like 'Night School'.
