Kellan Lutz, star of the new animated 3D Tarzan movie, will visit our fair city later this month to help raise funds for the very worthy cause of Ape Action Africa.
Lutz, who many will recognise from the Twilight franchise, will be in Dublin for a screening of Tarzan at the Odeon Point Village on Wednesday April 23rd. The American actor supplies the vocal duties for Tarzan in the animated flick, helmed by German director Reinhard Klooss.
The screening will be held in aid of Ape Action Africa, a charity which works for the endangered primates of Cameroon, rescuing gorillas, chimpanzees and monkeys who have been orphaned as a result of illegal poaching. Make sure you bring your wallets on the night as attendees will be encouraged to part with a few shekles for the cause.
Tarzan has, of course, been on the silver screen on many occasions but this incarnation with Kellan Lutz promised to be the most visually impressive yet and in stunning 3D, for a new generation.
Tarzan will open in Irish cinemas on May 2nd.
