However, as Tim Allen - the voice of Buzz Lightyear - explained on last night's episode of 'The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', it's actually more closer to his role but admits that it's a "great part."
"Actually, a little inside story, even (Reeves) said — gentle, wonderful guy that he is — ‘This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear.’ And his character does have an edge to that. And the guy said, ‘So we calmed him down a little bit,’ and they reminded me his toy is only that big."
The size he was referring to? Very small. So small we're thinking one of those green army men that was originally voiced by R. Lee Ermey. Either that or he's playing a tiny little version of John Wick who goes on a rampage to murder grown-up next-door neighbour Sid for kidnapping and torturing Woody and Buzz.
Then again, maybe not. It is, after all, a Disney movie so the likelihood of executions with a pencil or Keanu Reeves leapfroging over people with a gun in his hand is extrmely unlikely.
'Toy Story 4' arrives in cinemas on June 21st, 2019.
