America's Ray of Sunshine (or Shadow of Darkness depending on who you wish to believe) Katherine Heigl is to star in yet another comedy about nuptials and families, Jenny's Wedding.
Variety have exclusively revealed that the former Grey's Anatomy actor will take the lead in the indie flick which will be directed by Mary Agnes Donohue (who helmed tear-jerking classic Beaches) from her own script.
The story will revolve around Heigl's character - Jenny - whose hasty decision to marry necessitates dramatic changes to the lives of her tight-knit, 'traditional' family.
It will co-star Batman Begins and The Full Monty star Tom Wilkinson and Linda Emond (Julie & Julia) as Jenny's parents and Meryl Streep's daughter Grace Gummer will feature somehow but we don't know in what capacity, we just wanted to tell you she'd be in it.
