Kate Beckinsale has been offered one of the lead female roles of in the new big screen version of Total Recall, reports Deadline.com
Colin Farrell is the lead in the $200 million production that is being directed by Beckinsale's husband, Len Wiseman - they previously worked together on the Underworld films. There is a big second female part currently being linked to Eva Mendes and Rosario Dawson, but no one is set as of yet, with Jessica Biel also previously linked to the film for both roles. She hasn't really done an all out action role since Blade: Trinity, so it'd be nice to see her kick ass again.
The flick is due to go in front of cameras in Toronto in early summer, so we should see some images from the production in the next few months.
