It's been a long time coming, but the Snyder Cut of 'Justice League' is finally making its way to screens and will be available for everyone to see in a matter of time.
Last night, a new clip made its way online and showed - at last - Superman in a black suit. Why is this black suit so significant, you might be asking? It's called the Recovery Suit, and it featured in 'The Death of Superman', a major crossover comic storyline that took place in 1992.
At the time, the comic sales of Superman had been in severe decline, and it was suggested as a joke by the comics' writers that they should kill off Superman and bring him back to boost sales. That's pretty much what happened, with the series bolstering the flagging superhero and becoming one of its most talked-about storylines.
As well as debuting the clip featuring this moment, Snyder also made it abundantly clear that he has no intention of using any of the footage that Joss Whedon shot. "There would be no chance on Earth... I would destroy the movie, I would set it on fire before I would use a single frame that I did not photograph. That is a fucking hard fact," Snyder stated.
So far, no release date has been set for the new version of 'Justice League', however Snyder did say that a new trailer is coming at next month's DC FanDome event.
In the meantime, here's the clip.
