Keeping the ball rolling with the superhero movies, a Batman vs Superman movie has been scheduled to hit cinemas soon. A giant nerd-o-rama will errupt once the trailer is released, but asides from that little else is a surety. If there are any Breaking Bad/ Marvel and D.C. crossover fans out there, one thing of worthiness to keep you going is the news Bryan Cranston may be up for the role of Lex Luther in the future film.
Speaking on the subject of his possible involvement, Cranston insinuated he would be very interested, saying "give me a call". That's right Cranston, play it cool. With his experience as a cue-ball for professional reasons rather than actual full-on hair loss, Cranston definitely has some baldy props for the Luther role. He has topped polls for the role numerous times and has even admitted to having an affinity for the character himself. He stated, "I like Lex Luthor. I think he's misunderstood. He's a loveable, sweet man."
However, the American actor does have some competition win the form of British actor Mark Strong up for the role also. Strong recently commented on his possible link to the role, stating to Digital Spy to "watch this space". Catfight at dawn.
The Man of Steel sequel will open in cinemas in 2015, with The Dark Knight Trilogy star Christian Bale reportedly offered $50 million to reprise the role of Bruce Wayne. Watch a clip of the two films here to get you ready for the ultimate superhero merging.
