Although much of the news-cycle today is going to be dominated with hot takes on Ron Howard taking over the beleaguered Han Solo production, another tentpole blockbuster franchise is vying for everyone's attention.
The title to Jurassic World's sequel has been officially confirmed as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, along with a poster and its tagline taken straight from Dr. Ian Malcolm's famous line from the 1993 original.
Take a look.
Speaking of Jeff Goldblum and Dr. Ian Malcolm, Colin Trevorrow - who's left the director's chair but is still working on the screenplay - has been out doing early press for the film and said that much of Goldblum's dialogue in the upcoming film will be taken from the very mind of Jeff Goldblum. "Jeff Goldblum called me – and I’m not going to do an impression – but he was like, 'Look, I’ve added a couple things, and I thought I’d perform it for you.' I was like, ‘Oh, great, okay.’ So, we sat on the phone for an hour as he ran these lines, and we talked about it. And, I mean, that’s – it was almost better than being there on set. It was great."
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits Irish cinemas on June 8th, 2018.
