In the fanatical superhero movie world that consists of a growing number of movies, there has been one pertinent question on everyone's minds as of lately. Will The Avengers series share its cast with the other newly spawned Guardians of The Galaxy? After all, not only would it get more and more confusing as each plot developed, but it's a bit like stretching a piece of taffy into non existence. Luckily, no comic book wars will have to be waged as creator Joss Whedon has come out saying no such crossover will happen.
Whedon, the writer-director of Marvel's The Avengers and director of next year's Guardians of The Galaxy has promised fans that he won't rely on the same actors for the new film, unless that is he has been taking 'a lot of peyote and write a very different draft... and I'm not ruling that out.' At which point the police arrived and Whedon yelled out, 'the po-lice, sketch!' ...We kid.
This means no Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man (sad face) or Thanos from The Avengers (less of a sad face in all honesty), who were previously rumoured to star in the flick. Guardians of the Galaxy will arrive on 1st August 2014, with The Avengers 2 scheduled for 1st May 2015.
