Ever since The Dark Knight Rises came to our cinema screens last summer, we've been chomping at the bit to find out whether or not our main man JGL would some day don the caped crusader's cowl. Then came the rumours that he'd make an appearance as Batman in the Justice League movie. More recently though, the gossip mills were turning with the news that he could well make a cameo in this summer's Man of Steel.
However, putting all of the above rumours to bed, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has come out to say this is the first he's heard of the Man of Steel grapevine. Speaking to MTV, the former Third Rock From The Sun actor said: "I hadn't heard that one... It just goes to show how much you can believe rumours… I don't think you should believe in any of them. If there's something I'm going to be in, I'm going to tell you about it."
Well that's just great, Joe. There goes our good mood of a Tuesday morning. On the upside though, we do have Sin City 2 to look forward to.
"Sin City 2 is going to be fun... (he's playing) a quintessential Rodriguez badass. It's going to be fun as hell."
We can't wait!
