Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in talks to join the already star-packed cast of Quentin Tarantino's spaghetti western Django Unchained, reports Variety.

According to the trade paper, Levitt is currently busy with a barrage of projects, but is desperately attempting to fit in the Tarantino project, which already boasts Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson amongst its cast. The actor is currently shooting The Dark Knight Rises, and had the extremely well reviewed comedy/drama, 50/50 released a few weeks ago.

In other Levitt related news, the New York set courier flick he's starring in, Premium Rush  has had its release pushed to next August from this coming January.
