Although it hasn't been released here in Ireland, the early word for Jordan Peele's "social" horror, Get Out, is extremely positive.

Get Out has not only managed to top the US box office on its opening weekend, it also has a 99% score on Rotten Tomatoes. In other words, Get Out has struck a nerve with audiences - and it's only the beginning. In an interview with Insider, Peele confirmed that he's got four other films of a similar vein lined up and ready to go.

"The best and scariest monsters in the world are human beings and what we are capable of especially when we get together. I've been working on these premises about these different social demons, these innately human monsters that are woven into the fabric of how we think and how we interact, and each one of my movies is going to be about a different one of these social demons."

"The first one being Get Out, is about race and neglect and marginalization," he explained.

Peele didn't go into much detail beyond that, but it's clear that he already has something in mind - as Peele admitted that he had Get Out in the back of his mind for several years.

Get Out hits Irish cinemas on March 17th.
