Twenty-three. Count them, folks. TWENTY-THREE.
Last night saw John Williams pick up his 23rd Grammy, this particular award for Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media. At 85 years of age, John Williams doesn't even know how to slow down and his dance-card is already filling up. As well as scoring The Last Jedi and, presumably, Episode IX, Williams also has Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One, a fifth Indiana Jones movie at some point, and probably a few other jobs in the pipeline as well.
As well as scooping up an incredible number of Grammys, Williams also has more Oscar nominations than anyone else bar Walt Disney - 50 nominations, with five wins so far. He's also won four Golden Globes, three Emmy Awards and the respect of generations for his incredible work in film.
