Deadpool 2 may have found it's replacement for Tim Miller in the form of John Wick co-director, David Leitch.
Mashable are reporting that Leitch is the frontrunner for the job vacated by Miller who left the project due to creative differences with star, Ryan Reynolds.
Leitch co-directed John Wick, which is considered by many as the best action movie of the last few years.
He didn't return for the sequel, instead directing Charlize Theron thriller, The Coldest City. He's also attached to direct Chris Pratt in Cowboy Ninja Viking though that would come after Deadpool 2 if he gets the gig.
According to Mashable's report, there are several other directors still in the mix, but the fact that Leitch is repped by the same agency as Reynolds is expected to work in his favour. He also has history with Reynolds and Deadpool, working as the action co-ordinator in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was the first movie appearance of the character.
