John Turturro wants to play unhinged bowler, Jesus, one more time in a sequel to The Big Lebowski - provided he can lock down the rights.
The Coen Brothers directed the cult classic 'Lebowski', which starred Oscar winner Jeff Bridges and John Goodman. It's regarded by many, film buffs and stoners alike, to be their finest work. Or most plain entertaining.
But the Coen siblings have never made a sequel to one of their films, even though they did agree to allow Fargo to be adapted into a TV series. But Turturro has worked with them a few times, so they may give the actor a pass to run with the character.
Turturro has also directed several films, the last of which, Fading Gigolo co-starred Woody Allen and is still in Irish cinemas.
