There could very well be a Con Air reunion brewing, as Variety is reporting that both John Cusack and Nicolas Cage are circling the project, The Frozen Ground.
It's an intriguing sounding adaptation of a real life case where a man abducted 24 women over the course of 12 years, and flew them to the wilderness where he hunted them for sport. Cusack is surprisingly looking at playing the role of the serial killer, while Cage would be the cop investigating the case.
Neither actors have signed on yet, but when the trade papers report it's generally a given that negotiations are at a relatively advanced stage. Scott Walker will make his directorial debut with the project.
