Joel Silver, the ultra successful producer behind the likes of The Matrix and Lethal Weapon, has spewed a few words to IESB about his proposed Wonder Woman flick, saying that (Matrix co-director) Andy Wachowski has some excellent ideas on how to open the film, and that he could be a possibility to helm. He also talked about Justice League, saying the film has been "tabled"; meaning that it’s essentially been put on the backburner for now, and is unlikely to go forward with its current cast or even director. What this means for the fledging franchises that feature some of the heroes is unclear, but many still expect a Superman sequel to go ahead with Brandon Routh and Bryan Singer returning. It may be that the market is just too flooded right now, with numerous comic-book adaptations including The Dark Knight and Iron Man awaiting their day-and-date releases. Iron Man is excellent by the way, a review will be live later this afternoon.
