Jennifer Lawrence has said she'd only return for another X-Men movie if her co-stars Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy did too.
X-Men: Apocalypse, which was released on Wednesday, was the trio's third outing in the X-Men franchise and many expected that would be their last. Lawrence in particular has lamented the long shooting days that go with her character's appearance.
Lawrence told Entertainment Weekly that she has discussed the prospect of returning with her co-stars.
“Fassbender and McAvoy and I were all talking. Like, ‘Will you come back?’ ‘I dunno.’ ‘I’ll come back, if you come back.’
“I would love to come back. I love the fans and I love the character. But then you realize how important your year is, like how important three months out of your year is. I don’t know. I shouldn’t be that honest.”
She went on to say that 20th Century Fox should be concerned as the trio made a pact that none would return without the others.
"Fox should be terrified because the deal we made was like if one of us doesn’t come back, none of us are.”
