Jennifer Lawrence's star-power has steadily increased since she signed on for X-Men: First Class.
Since then, she's won an Oscar, starred in two major film franchises and has become a household name. With the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, however, Lawrence will be drawing a line under one of those franchises.
In a recent interview, Lawrence revealed that X-Men: Apocalypse will be her last film in the franchise. As is the norm with these type of contracts, Lawrence signed on for three films - we're guessing - and has now completed said contract.
Whether she'll renegotiate or not is another story, but this seems pretty final to us. After all, Lawrence will be front and centre for Apocalypse as the story is said to revolve around both her and the relationship she has with Beast, played by her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult.
It'll be intriguing to see if they kill off Mystique, Lawrence's character, or merely replace her with another actor.
Our bet? Mystique will die at the end of Apocalypse.
