It’s not often Ireland is the home to world premiere, even less so when it’s a Hollywood blockbuster, but it’d be pretty cool to attend one right? Especially if there were going to be blockbuster stars at it.
Why all the hypotheticals you ask? Well, see, you actually have a chance to go to one, and support a great cause while doing so.
Universal Pictures Ireland and Jameson Dublin International Film Festival are teaming up to screen Dracula – Untold in the Savoy on the 30th of this month, and you can buy tickets for just €10, with all the proceeds going to St. Francis Hospice.
Directed by an Irish man, it’s Gary Shore’s first feature length production, and having been filmed in Northern Ireland, the film will tell the story of Dracula’s origins.
Cast members Luke Evans and Sarah Gadon will be at the screening, and all you have to do to attend is go to over to jdiff.com and buy a ticket before they’re sold out.
I'm not going to trick you into buying a ticket by showing you a flashy trailer. No, that'd be poor form. Instead, I'm going to guilt you into it by reminding you of all the great work that's done over at St. Francis Hospice. Also, on an unrelated note, here's a flashy trailer.
Also, just thought we’d remind you there’s new dates for the 2015 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival next year, it’s now running on the 19th - 29th in March, so if you miss it you've nobody to blame but yourselves.
